Who we are.
On the Safer Side (OtSS) comprises of young and brilliant, forever, students of Psychology. Who are dedicated to make the world a friendlier place. For our founding team, we have Mudassir, Rushna, and Apurva to float the entire initiative along with teammates, like Fiza.
Our ideology
On the Safer Side, is committed to its principles and stands for quite a few powerful and engaging beliefs. At OtSS we believe in living life from a safer perspective and ultimately making the world a Psychologically friendlier place to be in because Prevention and precaution are better than cure, and cure is better than treatment!
We plan on engineering a sure-fire method for everyone to introspect and self reflect on their journey so far, to live a powerful and effective life. We hope and wish for everyone to live a more conscious life and to realise the far-reaching impacts and consequences of our day to day activities.
We believe education goes a long way in helping groom a nation and its people. Starting at the community level and even incorporating global concerns into our lives in healthy portions should be normalised. For which Bio-psycho-social education is very necessary to see measurable results, along with knowledge of all those spheres that can impact one's life like, basic Sex-education and education on economics and foreign exchange.
What we do.
We are designing a platform to meet these needs and to improve, empower, educate, encourage and distribute conversations around all things Mental Health and Hygiene.
We believe that while not anyone can be a mental health expert, everyone should be able to manage and maintain their hygiene, more specifically their, Mental Hygiene. to give you an example, while not anyone can be a dentist- everyone should know how to take care of their oral hygiene, like brushing, flossing etc.
For this, we are constantly looking for credible authorities on Mental Health. To not only help us provide reliable PsychoEducation to the masses but to also help us to further our cause. To do this we are looking to not just collaborate with people, organisations and agencies but actively looking for fresh blood to help us with this initiative as well.
Who can subscribe to us
While we are looking to provide content to make the world psychologically friendlier, it also has to be audience-appropriate. Keeping this in mind we have assumed our ideal viewer/ audience to be at least 16 years old. So if you are anyone older than 16, our content is for you. And while our content will be designed to be basic enough to engage everyone, we hope to, in the future, have a discourse around much larger and more sophisticated topics as our project grows over time. Keeping this in mind everyone above 16+ is welcome aboard to join our initiative and subscribe to us.
Who can collaborate with us
If you've are active in the field of psychology and would like to do your bit in pushing forth this cause? If yes then we need you. We are looking to curate, provide and distribute- credible and reliable content towards PsychoEducating the world. For this, we would like you to communicate with our audience and viewers through a medium of your liking. Presently we are primarily distributing our content through Videos and Articles, but would also like to expand into Podcasts and other media to ensure inclusivity.
Why collab with us
First things first, we can tag you and your accounts to bring traction to your page and/or posts as well. Secondly going digital is the need of the hour and with us, you can also have an online representation of your work and/ or agency. Thirdly, there is an increasingly high need of providing PsychoEducation in easily digestible bits in the present online scrolling culture.
Who can work with us
Are you passionate about making the world a psychologically friendlier place? If yes then we need you. We are looking for volunteers with all sorts of skills to help us distribute our content and to further our cause. For this, we would like to look at some of your previous work before we start working with you
Why work with us
With our work being what it is, our branching into different media is heavily reliant on our team's ability to handle different social media platforms. And our content itself is shaped by the technical capacities of our team members. On the Safer Side, is an entirely volunteer-driven initiative. Presently we are operating as a, not for profit and non-governmental organisation, with even our registration itself being a major milestone down the line as and when we grow large enough to register or get a license for a social work organisation.
We are a budding initiative and a very young team. We plan on doing this for a long term basis. With each season of the OtSS initiative bringing in newer and better projects and schemes. With nothing more than experience to offer, for now, we hope to work with you in building a bio-psycho-social friendly platform to deal with all things Mental Health and Hygiene.
Essentially, we are looking to work with people who are trying to build experience and utilize our contacts to build their social network and shape their skillset and repertoire.
